BMW X5 – Hybrid

Interim Service includes:

Under Bonnet:

• Top up all under bonnet fluids
• Test brake fluid
• Test antifreeze
• Check auxiliary drive belt(s)
• Check fuel system & pipes
• Check battery condition (Midtronics test)

Half Raised Vehicle:

• Check wheel bearings
• Check suspension joints/bushes/mountings
• Check steering joints/bushes/gaiters
• Check driveshaft gaiters
• Check shock absorber/coil springs
• Check flexible brake hoses
• Check tyre pressures
• Check tyre tread
• Check front brakes
• Check rear brakes

Raised Vehicle Full Height:

• Drain engine oil & replace filter
• Check engine/gearbox/diff for oil leaks
• Check exhaust system for leaks
• Check brake & fuel lines
• Check handbrake cables
• Check under body for corrosion

Lower Vehicle:

• Refill with engine oil

Outside Vehicle:

• Check the windscreen for damage
• Check windscreen washers & wiper blades
• Check lighting & lenses/reverse lights

Inside Vehicle:

• Check seatbelt operation

After Service:

• Torque wheel nuts (if removed)
• Road test & report any faults found
• Stamp service record book & reset service indicator (if applicable)

Full Service includes everything in the Minor Service, as well as:

Under Bonnet:

• Add engine flush (optional)
• Replace air filter (if required)
• Replace spark plugs (if required)
• Replace pollen filter (if required)
• Replace fuel filter (if required)
• Check wiring & components
• Check cooling system
• Check vacuum pipes
• Check brake/clutch hydraulics
• Check engine breather systems

Half Raised Vehicle:

• Remove all wheels

Raised Vehicle Full Height:

• Check gearbox oil (if possible)
• Check diff oil (if possible)

Lower Vehicle:

• Add fuel system cleaner to tank (optional)

Outside Vehicle:

• Check bodywork for corrosion
• Lubricate door hinges & catches

Inside Vehicle:

• Check operation of controls & switches
• Check hand brake & foot brake travel
• Check warning lamp indicators

Additional Service (at extra cost):

• Replace timing belt
• Replace gearbox oil
• Replace brake fluid (if failed test)
• Replace antifreeze (if failed test)
